so now you could refuse to meet with your boss on the grounds that your are bad for my health.
Particularly us Brits. It's the very reason we don't try and solve our problems. We'd have nothing to complain about. We're not happy unless we're complaining and if we didn't have anything to complain about, we'd complain about that. We're not happy unless we're unhappy.See, I'm even whinging about our complaining nature. ***** Brits.

They should have called the new project Ei8ht..
Doesn't anyone else feel that what his father did to him (forcing him to play tennis from the time he was a toddler) was bordering on child abuse? There are child labour laws for kids in show business...i think this should extend to include children in sports as well!!

I want the first picture as desktop background?
Let's see...I upgraded a Mac to Snow Leopard and a PC to Windows 7 only days apart both with a clean install...my Mac crashes at random, viewing too many images at once crashes it, two different versions of Traktor now crash at random, when emptying the trash it hangs up with the error that "files are in use by another program, on everything from .zip files to .txt to .mp3 files...the list just goes on and on with stupid little issues and not a single issue out of Windows 7 yet. I have to say my results turned out backwards from expected. |

I was saying hopefully in the next 10 years... the new chevy volt will be around 240 mpg. I'm writing a review of the story and what its possible impacts are, not whether it is credible or not. They didn't name the whistle blowers, so for all we know it's the night janitor staff at The Guardian.

First of all, the road train wouldn't be going 100MPH on the highway. It'll basically do the speed limit, maybe less, about 55MPH, since that is about when cars are most fuel efficient. (some tests showed 40)Second, cars that can participate in the road train will need a specific system installed. Which would require that the car be maintained on a regular basis. Otherwise the computer will simply not allow the car to join the road train... (DENIED)Third, laws will be passed regarding the road train, for example if they're all making a turn at an intersection, cars should allow the lead vehicle and all its followers to pass, and not do a 1x1 cross passing. This is ofcourse assuming the road train will get off main highways, which is avoidable since they have specific routes. Also assuming that there is some indicator as to the last car in line to the road train, otherwise people might take advantage. All in all, I see it as a great concept, and yes as some have mentioned earlier, we might still be a decade away from seeing it implemented. Hopefully we get to see some real road tests. But ofcourse now car manufacturers will be like.. "Now Road Train compatible." yet you'll still pay an arm and a leg to get the "compatible" systems installed. Which in turn uses more electricity and takes up more of the MPG.

Just a true free market. If a company in China puts lead into a food product and lots of people die, people will stop buying their products and the company will go under. The market will correct itself with the "invisible hand." See if we just got rid of all gobberment regulation everything would be okay.Don't worry about all those people that died. Thats just a cost of doing business.

I've seen a lot of "best nuclear explosion" or "most explosive cutscene" etc lists and it seems like F.E.A.R is overlooked every time despite having a really incredible sequence. |
